We've eaten pizza there twice. Pepperoni, mushroom and onions the first time and Italian sausage and pepperoni the second time. This is the most delicious pizza with lots of delicious mozzarella cheese!! It reminds me of when I was a kid decades ago! Sooooo good!!!
We love to stop here when making a trip from WI to SD. The food is excellent. We have had the pizza twice (tonight hubby was very impressed with the cauliflower crust), the BBQ dinner #2 (choice of 2 meats -- both delicious), and also the BBQ salad. All fabulous. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
Great pizza and service! Some of the most unique and best pizzas to try, with a couple of my favorites being the pickle wrap or crab rangoon. A must stop when you’re in town!!

I am from the area but have not been here for a few years, tonight we ordered pizza to our hotel and when it came it was too hot to eat, it was just like it came right of the oven! So fresh and so good and we did not wait long for it to arrive! The pizza was delicious and crust was amazing!! Will recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience! I ordered The Works and Meat Lovers pizza for me and the family. This was my first and only time visiting Community Tap, I’m not from Fort Dodge but this place was recommended to me by my dad and I’m very glad I ate here. The clerk was a nice gal and offered Parmesan and pepper flakes. I accepted them. The pizza smelled so good my whole drive home and I was drooling from anticipation of this delicious pizza. The crust was a thin cracker crust. The Works I ordered with no onion. It didn’t seem to have any onions so that’s good they listened. I added the pepper flakes and parm to my pizza slices. This pizza was sweet salty and one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and I’m certainly no stranger to eating pizza. I tried the meat lovers pizza and it was so so good. I am a very happy customer. The only thing I can complain about is that it was hard for me to find the pick-up area as an uninitiated patron. Once I found it it was smooth sailing. It’s by the south door. I didn’t see any signs there they should label it pickup to not confuse strangers. 5/5 pizza! Would buy again!
This place was recommended to me by a local working at the grocery store. Im sure glad i listened to him. I was totally please with my meal and the price surprised me it was so low for such high quality. I hope i get to visit again sometime and sure do regret not getting that plate to go i was pondering as i finished my meal.
Very local place (then again it’s Ft. Dodge, IA). Good pours from the two bartenders. Menu looks solid even though I didn’t eat anything. Saw plenty of pizza coming from the kitchen window which looked really good (I should have tried it). Thin crust cut tavern style was what caught my eye. I went back for the pizza! After seeing pizza come out of the back for over a hour it was all I was thinking about. This place is on my personal top 5 pizza joints! This is thin, cut tavern style and the edges are crispy! The bottom crust is the perfect combination of doughy/firm/crisp. The toppings and edges of the crust is what does it! Amazing! I will be back if ever in Fort Dodge!
Good tenderloin, a bit overcooked. Breading and seasoning were great. No pics of the gizzards which were also good but one bunch that should have been separated before hitting the fryer were undercooked. Oh well, will be back.
